I’ve known Ajeet for more than 20 years and she helped me heal from cancer while going through chemotherapy. When my cancer came back 20 years later, I again went to her for help. She specializes in women’s health and healing. She knows how bodies work and how they need to be in order to facilitate maximum healing. She’s intuitive and knowledgeable about how to help and her kindness helps the person relax. I would certainly recommend her for any physical or mental or spiritual healing needed.”

The women’s mental health retreat was transformative. I felt emotionally lighter after attending this retreat filled with rejuvenating yoga, meditation, and nature walks and swims. My mom and I went together, and it was healing for both of us. Ajeet’s individual and group sessions allowed me to experience different perspectives so I didn’t feel as stuck in the same pattern. The peaceful environment of the beautiful Maine outdoors enhanced the experience. Ajeet’s skill as a healer and yogi is unparalleled! I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to feel more peaceful and energized in their daily lives.”

About Svaroopa® Yoga
During the week retreat, you’ll learn Svaroopa® yoga, a simple and slow yogic practice that helps you to release your spine and apply this deeper release to your whole life. Svaroopa® yoga is Hatha yoga, with self-awareness involved. This is a path of both self-effort and grace, says Swami Nirmalananda, founder of Svaroopa®. Self-effort is very important: you must apply yourself to the practices. Yet, on a path of Grace, you have to remember to make space for something more to happen. This is what Svaroopa® yoga excels at and why it is the best yoga for retreat, especially for the mental health relief it provides.
